Telecommunications - With an extensive range of portable fibre optic cable blowing compressors and ancillaries, Factair remains the UK market leader in this exciting new technology and is rapidly expanding its global customer base. Blowing capacities are available from single fibre units through to large multifibre cables.

Military products - Factair has supplied specialised compressed air equipment to the Ministry of Defence for over 25 years. Among the more regularly demanded items are compressed air tool kits for field maintenance of combat vehicles including Warrior and Challenger 2.

Special Compressor Packages - The company designs and builds control systems to ensure the safe and reliable operation of mechanical equipment. Solutions range from single control panels to fully automated manufacturing systems.

About Factair Limited

Factair specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke compressor, breathing air and confined space ventilation equipment. First established in 1976, the company has developed products for a diverse range of industries including:- petrochemical, nuclear, rail, pharmaceutical as well as the Ministry of Defence. Breathing-Air Systems

Our comprehensive range of mobile breathing air compressors, road towable BA cylinder systems, safe air cabinets, masks and hoses ensure we can help you establish a safe system of work for your operatives.

Breathing-Air Testing

Designed to meet the stringent requirements for testing of breathing air systems, our range of instruments provide a fast and accurate method of establishing the levels of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water, oil and oxygen content in supplied breathing air.

Mobile Compressors

We are proud to be the only CompAir approved manufacturer of petrol, diesel and hydraulically driven Hydrovane compressors. The engine driven Hydrovane compressor provides a compact and highly mobile source of compressed air for applications where a fixed air supply is not available or practical.

Confined Space Ventilation

Established to provide air ventilation of confined spaces Factair has a range of ventilation fans and ducting systems available for sale or hire. From man-hole entry work to temporary railway tunnel ventilation Factair can help to set up a safe system of work that prevents operatives being exposed to hazardous fumes.

Pneumatic Controls and Automation

Factair's team of engineers has designed and produced a variety of bespoke solutions from rollercoaster braking systems to water filtration systems. Each system is designed for the customer's individual application and requirements.

Hire

Where purchase is not the ideal solution, Factair is able to offer a wide range of equipment on a hire basis. Full technical support is offered throughout the hire from selection to onsite training and maintenance.
