The SafeGuard is a configurable continuous monitoring instrument available for monitoring atmospheric or compressed-air supplies up to 10 barg. The unit can be fitted with up to 6 different gas sensors to suit your requirements. Sensors available include: VOC, LEL, O2, CO, CO2, NO, NO2, and H2S sensors.
The unit has a volt free contact to allow to be used to automatically shut down equipment when alarm values have been exceeded. Alarm settings and the datalog file can be configured by the user over a wireless interface using a smart phone or laptop. Fitted with magnets on the rear face allows the SafeGuard to be easily mounted on equipment.
The unit is designed for challenging ambient light conditions and it has a large 3.5” LCD display which shows live sensor readings. If any of these exceed the configurable alarms levels they automatically change colour to indicate which are in alarm. At the same time a 360° edge light will show users who cannot directly see the screen that the unit is in alarm.
For full breathing-air testing to EN529 / EN12021, dewpoint monitoring is required and on airline systems verification that there is sufficient flow for the respiratory protective device. Please refer to the SAFE-AIR TESTERS section for instruments with these features.
