Factair ventilates and monitors the atmospheric conditions in Somerton tunnel

Factair’s latest rail project was to safeguard workers in Somerton tunnel in Somerset. Somerton tunnel was built in 1906 and is just under 1 km.
Whilst engineering works were been undertaken Factair ventilated the tunnel and monitored the atmospheric conditions to ensure levels of dust and pollution did not exceed EH40. At the end of the contract a full atmospheric condition report was supplied to the client to support their documentation and ongoing duty of care.
