Factair are experts in testing the quality of breathing-air supplies for both low and high pressure systems as required by COSHH and in accordance with the limits in the standard BS EN 12021 : 2014. 

 

This standard sets out maximum limits for Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Oil, Moisture and Oxygen. There is also a requirement in EN 529 : 2005 to ensure there is sufficent flow and pressure for the breathing-air mask / hood or suit being used. 

 

Our team of Service Engineers can provide regular testing on-site of your breathing-air systems to these requirements. 

 

Once completed a detailed set of test result certificates are provided to the client. The HSE guideline document HSG53 states these test results should be retained for a period of 5 years.
